I started Matterdays because I wanted to give my dog, Forrest, a daily supplement, and I couldn't find one I trusted.

The shelves were full of products padded with fillers and binders, or narrow formulas that left you stacking four or five bottles to cover the basics.

I take supplements every day. It's part of how I look after myself as I age. I wanted the same for him.

While I was still building Matterdays, Forrest was diagnosed with cancer. I was devastated, and I wanted to do more for him.

That's what Matterdays is for. Every day we have with them matters, and the small rituals we build into those days are how we show up for them.

Forrest is still by my side, and he has MD1 every morning.

What We Believe

A stronger body is built daily,

MD1 is our first product: a daily powder for dogs and cats, third-party tested and made in the USA. One serving a day, mixed into food.

It's the starting point. We're working on innovative solutions for pets beyond what one product can do and continuing to invest in research partnerships, veterinary oversight, and the quality standards that make us comfortable recommending what we make.
